BIOGRAPHY

Frank Greer graduated in social communication-journalism at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He also got a Diploma in Radio Broadcasting in the International University “Center of Superior Studies”, where he graduated as a Radio Announcer/Radio Dj, this radio career has fulfilled all his professional dreams. For 40 years Greer has been passionate working in the radio field as one of the top Radio Personality in the radio markets like Boston, Massachusetts and Dominican Republic, where his professional journey started.

For the last two year, Greer has been the program director of SUPRA FM 89.7 FM, the only community radio station in the city of Valdosta, making it one of the best radio stations of Lowndes County- Valdosta. Valdosta is recognized as the capital of the South area of the state of Georgia.

SUPRA FM 89.7 FM is the most compelling and vital community radio project serving the Hispanic community, providing news, local programming, christian teaching and sermons. Also, updated weather alerts and other services to help people in Valdosta and beyond. Also, Greer can be heard on air as radio personality under the name of “Dj Francisco” in the afternoon drive, bringing cheers to listeners with his energetic, fresh and unique animation style.

According to Greer, “he would like to see SUPRA FM 89.7 FM as a networking tool to connect people and local businesses at the same time, a way to help the communities of Lowndes County, especially the Hispanic community.

He has worked as a press, radio, and television host and director, as well as creative advertising creator for radio ads. 

In 2023, he moved to Valdosta , which has been his residence ever since. He initially worked for big companies like Mega Communication, Eagle Radio Broadcasting, Gois Broadcasting and Empresas Radiofonicas S.A.of Roberto Lama.

“I see great opportunities for people who live in Valdosta and Lowndes County to prosper and fulfill their dreams working together as one community. All we have to do is to get involved and set common goals to improve the lives of our people in Lowndes County”.
