Valdosta Alliance Inc and WFAG-LP 89.7 Mission Statement
Our mission is to build a real and strong bilingual cultural and Educational community radio station that serves the people of Valdosta and South Georgia through local information, educational programming, emergency communication, faith and cultural outreach, radio- communication classes, training and opportunities for local voices to be heard.
The station will provide accessible, community-centered broadcasting focused on strengthening communication, public service, and civic engagement throughout the Valdosta and surrounding rural communities.

WFAG-LP, Supra 89.7 FM is Valdosta’s first successful non-profit, bilingual community radio station. It operates under Valdosta Alliance Inc., a non-profit that the Greers started to reach and empower undeserved communities like Latinos by traditional media. This is a platform to facilitate the dreams of people, who are Latino, to keep the them informed, educated on real matters and issues and connect them with the right sources for their wellbeing in the precious city of Valdosta, and vicinity all wrapped up in an entertaining, fun format. This station can offer local artists a stage to present their art, which can be near impossible for an unknown artist to do at a commercial station. Also, the station and Valdosta Alliance Inc offers people communication and journalism classes to help them to be as the future community leaders.
