HELP US TO EXPAND THIS COMMUNITY RADIO THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO (2) FM TRANSLATOR STATIONS

We are in the process of the construction and installation of two (2) FM Translators that will extend the reach of our bilingual community radio service, WFAG-LP 89.7 FM to surrounding counties currently unable to receive our signal: Brooks, Lanier, Cook, Echols, Colquitt and Berrien. Also reaching the cities of Jennings and Madison, Florida. It will be positioning the station able to reach over 200,000 new listeners.

Our Community Radio Station WFAG-LP 89.7 FM is dedicated to serving the public through informative and educational programming that includes: local news, public service announcements, health awareness programs, cultural content, youth programming, christian gospel, and emergency information. Our station plays a vital role in connecting residents, local organizations, and businesses within our community.

To strengthen this service, we are working to install two (2) FM translators that will significantly expand our broadcast coverage in the whole South Georgia area and allow thousands of additional listeners to access our programs. This project will require funding for transmitter equipment, antenna systems, installation, and technical setup. Estimated Total Project Cost $172,833.
