LOCAL BUSINESS DONATE A SET OF BROADCAST ANTENNA AND EQUIPMENT TO THE COMMUNITY RADIO 89.7 FM

The administration of Valdosta Alliance and Supra 89.7 FM extends its gratitude to prominent local business owners for the donation of a new set of antenna for the station, aimed at improving and strengthening its signal in specific areas of Lowndes County.

The ceremony presentation was conducted by Valdosta Alliance Administrator Paula Greer, who expressed her gratitude to Jalisco Supermarket and Restaurant—and its management team—specifically Carlos Vega, for their support of and donations to the community radio station.

“This represents a significant step in the station's growth and the expansion of its service to the entire Hispanic community in the region, with the goal of providing information, education, and support for the strengthening and integration of our multicultural communities.”

We offer our thanks to these Hispanic business owners who have joined forces in support of this community-focused service initiative.

Furthermore, Greer announced that the station is currently in the process of obtaining the necessary licenses to install two repeater stations. This initiative aims to extend the station's signal to remote and agricultural areas—where our hardworking people live and work in the fields of South Georgia—including Quitman, Lake Park, and Statenville, as well as cities such as Moultrie, Adel, and Jennings, Florida.
